Power to enter into agreements, etc.

1. The Society may enter into such contracts and arrangements as the Council considers are necessary or expedient for the purposes of or in connection with the provision of any service under [Consolidated Requirements Part 2 > General Operational Matters > Central Accounting].

2. Where the Society has entered into a contract or arrangement as described in [1. above], and, as a result thereof, the Council uses systems and equipment owned, maintained, operated or controlled by third parties, the Council may disclose to such third parties information about participants and System transactions to the extent that such disclosure is necessary for the purpose of, or giving effect to, the contract or arrangement concerned.

3. Any service provider may, if the Council so agrees, disclose to third parties information about participants and their businesses to the extent that such disclosure is necessary for the purpose of or in connection with the provision of any service.
